Quality Inn Hays I-70

The room was nice. Not overly lavish, but the king bed was so comfy. The check in staff, Megan, was kind and efficient at her job. The pool is small, but my kids still had a blast. The check out staff, Noel, was incredibly sweet. We rolled out of the hotel around 4 a.m. and he made sure that we had coffee and some breakfast for the road. The staff is what makes a place really nice to me and the staff here were great. Keep up the good work.

Upon arrival we were greeted by staff. He was very friendly and informative throughout the check in process. He also recommended good nearby eating establishments. The room was nice and clean. The only drawback was the shower head. My husband is tall and had to bend down to get under the shower head. It was kind of comical to be honest. It's mounted perfect for me (I'm short) though. They serve a large variety of food for breakfast - I was very impressed by it. All around good stay, nice economical price and good food.

Very nice. Clean, convenient. Breakfast was as good as any other hotel. The staff person was very accommodating and friendly. Not sure what others expect from an interstate highway hotel, but we found it excellent. It’s not right at the highway intersection, but very close. The only thing….they had recently had the carpets cleaned and the styrofoam spacers were still under the furniture legs….bit whatever! The carpet was clean!

Very impressed with our stay in Quality Inn in Hays. Came in late, with no reservations, on a busy Saturday night but was greeted at the front desk with a pleasant smile and cordial greeting. Desk attendant set us up with the very last available room which turned out to be much more than we could have expected at such a late hour. Room was very clean, up to date and most importantly - quiet for the amount of people that were checked in that night. Morning breakfast was very well stocked, fresh and delicious and staff did a great job of keeping things clean for a large morning crowd. All in all we had a very pleasing experience and there is no question where we will prefer to stay when we pass though Hays again.

For the price and the location, this was a great value and comfortable stay. Along our trip, we stayed at more expensive hotels that took little value in the appearance and quality of one's stay. In that sense, this stood out. Nothing fancy, but a clean room, good service, quick check out and check-in, easy process handling an error in our reservation. We were just passing through but definitely recommend this particular hotel. The owner manages it well and cares, and it shows.

Arrived to find my reservation was off one day. Helpful in fixing the reservation. Nice rooms. excellent indoor pool. clean rooms.

This was our first time staying anywhere in Kansas, and when we ended up on Hayes, it is a beautiful little town, and this Quality Inn in hays, is a beautiful little place with a great staff right An awesome swimming pool delicious breakfast. We highly recommend this hotel!

We had booked and paid for the room a couple weeks in advance, but unbeknownst to me, the hotel canceled the reservation on the day of arrival. I was never notified of this cancellation, and naturally was not reimbursed for the cost. Thankfully, one of the employees recognized that this was apparently something their system did, and refunded me for the stay, because I did have to pay for the night a second time (it was 1AM when we arrived and I wasn't about to drive to a different hotel). I would recommend actually checking with the hotel before you arrive if they have your reservation on file, because finding out at 1AM that it was canceled and you weren't told a thing isn't fun.
